Gwen has focused her career on driving impactful sustainability solutions in collaboration with the private sector, governments, and civil society. As Director of Operations, she is helping to build Delterra’s systems and strategies with a deep understanding of the importance of implementing innovative approaches to complex global challenges.

Gwen was born in Guatemala and grew up in Latin America and Southern Africa, providing her with experiences that have profoundly shaped her global perspective and informed her commitment to sustainable international progress. She has helped grow the size and scope of mission driven organizations through a cross-functional approach that includes cultivating stakeholder and funding relationships, designing international environmental and economic development programs, and creating the organizational infrastructure needed to support and manage these programs in Latin America, North Africa, Europe, and China. Her work in environmental issues brought her to a secondment with the White House Council on Environmental Quality under the Obama Administration to help drive the federal GreenGov initiative.

Gwen holds an MBA from Thunderbird – the Graduate School of International Management, and a BA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. She now lives in one of her favorite cities in the world, Washington D.C.
