Alina Jurcola currently leads the plastic reduction program at environmental NGO Delterra.

Alina grew up in Ufa in the middle of the Ural Mountains, and currently lives in Sydney, Australia. She spent the beginning of her career as a mechanical engineer developing infrastructure projects in Canada, Russia, and Australia, before moving to McKinsey & Company, where she worked on a range of topics, including digital and AI strategy, Agile operating model, and industry and regional transformation required to reach net zero.

She has published reports and articles on consumer behavior change required to reach sustainable goals, the role of waste in driving climate change, and the importance of addressing plastics growth with a range of upstream solutions.
