Adrian Widjaja combines a passion for sustainability with a technical background, putting both at the service of the search for innovative and sustainable solutions. He believes that positive impact can be achieved through learning, systems change and multistakeholder collaboration.

For over seven years, Adrian has been leading notable developments in material science and R&D. His passion in this space was sparked early on, linked to a memorable incident involving an explosive chemical experiment in high school. Prior to Delterra, Adrian’s role as an Assistant Manager for Process Development team at a plastic packaging manufacturer allowed him to develop cutting-edge innovations and solutions for packaging. Before that, he worked in research and development roles across several global organizations, particularly in the chemical industry. He holds an MBA from University of Amsterdam and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from University of Minnesota.
